This Trinidadian chilli DID NOT COME TO PLAY. It is considered one of the spiciest chillies in the world measuring between 923,889 – 1,853,986 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Do not let it’s gorgeous textured chocolatey brown exterior fool you…it is here to burn your kitchen down! The fruits grow in a shape not dissimilar from a Jalapeno and darken from green to a chocolatey deep red/brown as they ripen.

Rich, well-drained friable soil.
Avoid high nitrogen fertilisers.
Sow in trays 3mm deep. 10 – 21 days till germination.
Transplant 30cm apart in full sun and keep moist.
Avoid high nitrogen fertilisers or leaf growth will be promoted over fruit.
Prefers warmer temps.
