This beautiful perennial has spires of purple flowers attractive to beneficial insects & smells like sweet liquorice. Flowers & leaves are edible & used in teas – naturally sweet.
Also used in herbal medicine.

GROWING TIPS
Best transplanted in spring.
Grow by sprinkling the tiny seed onto seed raising mix and gently tamping down to make good soil & seed contact.
Keep moist until they germinate in 8-16 days’ time.
Transplant 30cm apart.
prefers partial sun/shade can be dead-headed in spring early summer to encourage growth and flowers.
