Sprinkle petals in salads for colour and a slight peppery taste

Not fussy – will tolerate most soils.

Direct sow or in trays.

Plant seed 1.5cm deep, transplant or thin to 50cm apart.

Readily self-seeds.

Makes an attractive floral border.
