Beautiful explosions of orange petals on ‘’balls’ – bracts that grow up tall stems.
Attractive to bees & honeyeaters native to Africa & Southern India.
When used in herbal medicine, the flowers & leaves are brewed as a tea.
The dried leaves are sometimes used as a mild legal substitute for marijuana.
Can become weedy, to avoid this cut back the stems after flowering.
