Also known as the “Field” / “Corn” poppy.
This beautiful red flower does not pack the “medicinal” punch it’s cousin the “opium poppy” does, however it makes a stunning decorative addition to any garden.
Seeds from this flower can be harvested for use in cooking; a delicious addition to baked goods and dukkahs!

SOIL PREFERENCES
Not too fussy.
However, prefers loose, well-drained and slightly acidic soils.
GROWING TIPS
Choose an area of the garden with full sunlight.
Direct sow by scattering thinly across soil and covering with 1mm of soil.
Ideal spacing 20-30cm apart.
Water regularly.
