A mild chilli used in Mexican cooking.

Thick green walled fruit which grows to 12cm.

Sow early in the season and under cover prior to transplanting after risk of frost to maximise production.

Can be perennial if overwintered in a protected area.

GROWING TIPS

10-21 days till germination 6mm deep.

Transplant 45cm apart in full sun and keep moist.

Avoid high nitrogen fertilisers or leaf growth will be promoted over fruit.

Prefers warmer temperatures.
