An Eastern German heirloom whose name means “little blond girl”. It produces generous clusters of golden yellow cherry tomatoes bursting with a pronounced tangy flavour with notes of citrus. This is a cherry tomato plant who likes to spread out so make sure you allow it ample room and It will reward you with some truly delicious tomatoes!

WHEN TO PLANT

Cool Climate: AUG, SEP, OCT, NOV, (INSIDE) Plant out after risk of frost when soil temperature reaches 16ºC+.

Temperate: SEP-DEC Transplant or direct sow outside only when soil temperatures reach 16ºC+.

Sub – Tropical: (FROST FREE ZONES) MAR, APR, MAY, JUN, JUL, AUG, SEP,

(Can be grown year-round but risk of disease increases when sown in hotter months.)

Tropical: Late April to the beginning of July.

 

SOIL PREFERENCES

PH 5.8-7

Well-drained rich soil.

GROWING TIPS

Raise in seedling tray, sow 6mm deep and keep moist.

 Remove bottom leaves when planting and plant deeply to promote strong growth.

Plant 80cm apart and grow on a support.
