This is a variety which has literally won a Beauty Pageant! In 2006 it awarded for it’s beauty by the “All American Selections”. Fruits are glistening black pearls which ripen to crimson surrounded by leaves of ink black and deepest purple. As if the fruit and leaves were not gorgeous enough this plant boasts beautiful purple blossoms. If you are looking for an ornamental plant which is also edible this is a must have for your garden!

Avoid high nitrogen fertilisers or leaf growth will be promoted over fruit.

Prefers warmer temperatures.
