ASIAN GREENS: JAPANESE MIBUNA

(BRASSICA RAPA NIPPONOSICA)

Often confused with “mizuna”, mibuna has rounded, smooth, spear shaped leaves, similar to spinach leaves.  Unlike mizuna, mibuna is not peppery, but rather has a flavour reminiscent of mustard.

An utterly delectable addition to salads and stir-fries.
