CUCUMBER: MUNCHER

(CUCUMIS SATIVUS)

These small and tender cucumbers can be used for pickles or for fresh eating.

Smooth green skinned, and low acid they grow to 17cm in length.

Resistant to mosaic disease and prolific.

Well-drained soil.

GROWING TIPS

Sow direct 5-10mm deep in 2-3’s, 30cm apart and keep moist.

Avoid overhead watering though foliar sprays with seaweed. Spray will reduce mildew.

Harvest with 2cm stem to increase storage life.
