American heirloom 1981.

Grows to 1.8m.

Better suited to warmer climates.

May require staking to hold upright.

Good producer of small to medium plum shaped cherry tomatoes.

Ideal for both salads and canning it also performs well as a processing tomato in sauces and purees.

WHEN TO PLANT

Cool Climate: AUG, SEP, OCT, NOV, (INSIDE) Plant out after risk of frost when soil temperature reaches 16ºC+.

Temperate: SEP-DEC Transplant or direct sow outside only when soil temperatures reach 16ºC+.

Sub – Tropical: (FROST FREE ZONES) MAR, APR, MAY, JUN, JUL, AUG, SEP,

(Can be grown year-round but risk of disease increases when sown in hotter months.)

Tropical: Late April to the beginning of July.

PH 5.8-7

Well-drained rich soil.

GROWING TIPS

Raise in seedling tray, sow 6mm deep and keep moist.

 Remove bottom leaves when planting and plant deeply to promote strong growth.

Plant 1m apart.
