American heirloom from the Pennsylvania Amish salad, drying, bottling sauce, preserves, and soup.
1.5m tall.
The iconic paste tomato that both tastes great fresh and is a top-notch paste tomato. Plum to heart shape heat tolerant up to 15kg per plant.

WHEN TO PLANT
Cool Climate: AUG, SEP, OCT, NOV, (INSIDE) Plant out after risk of frost when soil temperature reaches 16ºC+.
Temperate: SEP-DEC Transplant or direct sow outside only when soil temperatures reach 16ºC+.
Sub – Tropical: (FROST FREE ZONES) MAR, APR, MAY, JUN, JUL, AUG, SEP,
(Can be grown year-round but risk of disease increases when sown in hotter months.)
Tropical: Late April to the beginning of July.

SOIL PREFERENCES
PH 5.8-7
Well-drained rich soil.

GROWING TIPS
Raise in seedling tray, sow 6mm deep and keep moist.
Remove bottom leaves when planting and plant deeply to promote strong growth.
Plant 50cm apart.
Grow on a support system.
Pinch out laterals to 1-2 leaders.
