One of the first tomatoes bred for increased nutrition – contains anthocyanins, great for brain health.
2011 American.
Grows up to 2m tall.
Deep purple with black shoulders (darken with the sun) with a raspberry/orange base and orange flesh.
Very regular shaped and beautiful plum flavour.
Grows in trusses.

WHEN TO PLANT
Cool Climate: AUG, SEP, OCT, NOV, (INSIDE) Plant out after risk of frost when soil temperature reaches 16ºC+.
Temperate: SEP-DEC Transplant or direct sow outside only when soil temperatures reach 16ºC+.
Sub – Tropical: (FROST FREE ZONES) MAR, APR, MAY, JUN, JUL, AUG, SEP,
(Can be grown year-round but risk of disease increases when sown in hotter months.)
Tropical: Late April to the beginning of July.

SOIL PREFERENCES
PH 5.8-7
Well-drained rich soil.

GROWING TIPS
Raise in seedling tray, sow 6mm deep and keep moist.
Remove bottom leaves when planting and plant deeply to promote strong growth.
Plant 50cm apart.
Pinch out laterals leaving 1-2 leaders.
Grow on a support.
