Also known as a ground cherry. A cousin of the Golden Nugget Physalis, this variety has an intense flavour reminiscent of …you guessed it…Pineapple!

As with all physalis fruits it comes replete with it’s own gift-wrapping of a delicate husk which is a joy to peel open and reveal the delicious berry within!

SOIL PREFERENCES

PH 5.8 – 7

Rich, well-drained soil.

GROWING TIPS

Raise in seedling trays 6mm deep and keep moist.

When robust enough transplant.

Plant 50cm apart.

Their growth habit is similar to that of a bush tomato.

Fruit keeps for 2-4 weeks.
